Christmas Greetings!

My boots was half sink

Every time I walk ed in the thick snow, I always watch my boots how deep it was. When I saw that I sink that deep, then I took some picture. And just a few days ago when we visit the forest here in Den Haag, the snow was totally fresh. Not many people went there, therefore, you don’t see many footprints. So, I made my own footprints there or sometimes making a rail. I enjoy it walking in the forest because everything turns white. Some area had a very thick snow already, but it doesn’t bother me because I have high boots. Therefore, the snow doesn’t go through my shoes, but I can feel the cold on it. After walking an hour and half, then I felt my toes were frozen haaa.

Got my new winter boots

I was glad that finally I found the winter boots that I like. And just this day, I bought one pair of winter boots. Now that I have comfortable boots this winter season, it doesn’t bother me anymore the snow. Winter season this time falls many snow, which is very rare that it happened according to my husband and in-laws. And for my seventh visit here in NL, this is my first time that I encounter many snow outside the house. Well, I saw snow before, but mostly in the provinces that we visit and not the city itself. And now that it keeps snowing, it bothered me so much because my normal boots are slippery to walk. I feel every time I go out that I’m not safe to walk in. Luckily I have a new winter boots, so I can enjoy snow again. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow, LOL.

Grandma’s Christmas tree

Yesterday, my mother-in-law and I went to grandma’s house to put up her Christmas tree. I was excited because I enjoy decorating some Christmas stuff. Grandma usually used an artificial Christmas therefore, the Christmas tree she has was already few years old. Unlike in my mother-in-law, every Christmas she bought a fresh pine tree. Anyway, our decorating time was done so fast in grandma’s house because we put only her Christmas tree and some  wall decorations. After that, we got a free snack’s as our reward in helping grandma, wohoo..yummy broodje kipkerrie. Thanks for the snack’s grandma.
